After trying it for a while here's what I think...

I love the retinol product I’m using. It’s freaking awesome, but I’m scared. I actually had to hide the bottle from myself. So, it took me a while to find it again it to do this video overview.

My biggest concern is that I keep waking up in the middle of the night, after using retinol, and my eyes are practically glued shut. BOING, when I unstick them… gross. But I keep coming back to the stuff because it really works so well. I’m wondering if others’ had a similar experience. It’s not like I am putting it in my eyes – or even close to that.

What I love about it

Here’s what I love about it. Retinol is fast acting and highly effective. It’s almost too good. My pores seem smaller and lines and wrinkles on my face are smaller. I’ve noticed these differences in about four weeks. So far I’m thrilled because the next best thing would probably be Botox? That is a whole other level. Retinol is best by far on price point, commitment, and convenience.

I have some questions...

Now for the bad parts. I am seriously wondering what is this stuff?  It’s obviously really strong. I do know it can cause issues for women trying to get pregnant, pregnant, and/or breastfeeding. In my experience I am noticing a lot of eye dryness, which I am not certain is from the retinol, but I am suspicious. It might just be my eyelash extensions feeling dry.

Addicted! Maybe just one more try

Two-part self-experiment! I’m going to try using the retinol again tonight since my eyelash extensions aren’t scheduled until week. Also, I ordered Gentle Retinol Serum from Credo, and I’m going to see if it works better for me.
